XRF is a non-destructive method which estimates the proximate value of the given element in dry, whole or ground grain samples.
The whole seeds or grain samples should be free of glumes and other extraneous matters to aid in assuring the quality of the data.
XRF cannot measure the presence of contaminations (if any) in the samples. To avoid such issues, the clients are requested to submit their samples with their known controls every time for quality check entries.
